Round the corner from our long-term site The Jetty, we hosted creative workshops at the new Tide riverside linear park.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are always keen to teach people new skills that allow them to make their own Christmas presents. It fundamentally changes our relationship with consumer goods when we are directly involved with their creation.
We were happy to have the opportunity to teach people some new skills at Sample Festival, along with dozens of other independent traders showing off their skills and beautiful goods. We had plants for sale, and ran workshops about how to create plastic-free bird feeders for winter, and how to construct macramé plant hangers to enable people even with the smallest of spaces at home to enjoy the therapeutic value of houseplants.
