As part of our ongoing relationship with Barworks, we were asked in to green up their newest pub, the Duke of York in Dalston.
The front of the pub is north facing, and under the shadow of a lovely Ash tree with glowing yellow autumn foliage. So the choice of plants was slightly limited to shade-tolerant evergreens with a largely upright structure, so as not to crowd out the punters.
More and more businesses are recognising the importance of having plants throughout the spaces they manage, for the benefit of clients and employees. The positive health effects have been well-demonstrated, and we are always happy to be making London greener.
