Albany Theatre Garden
From November 2014 to May 2015, we worked in the impressive garden at the Albany Theatre in Deptford.
We delivered our accessible horticulture qualifications from NOCN to the service users of Toucan Employment, supporting people with learning disabilities into work. There was a polytunnel and small greenhouse, with numerous raised beds and a huge grass area. As our other work took off in the spring, we agreed with our partners to wrap up the work there, to focus on our more local communities in Lambeth & Southwark.
