Inner Life of Trees
Two large sycamores were felled at Time and Talents this week, clearing a huge space on the north side of our greenhouse, which we will turn into a picnic area and orchard with our new fan-trained fruit trees, arriving soon β apricot, nectarine, plum, cherry, apple, pear and more β [β¦]

People, Plants, Progression
The new year has got off to a great start, despite the freezing weather. One of our learners just passed their Plant Selection module, the most challenging of the 4 units in the Level 1 qualification.

Surrey Square Start
Our first day transforming the lawn at Surrey Square has gone very smoothly indeed. A recent graduate joined us to strip the lawn where we are creating flower beds, and by the end of the day we had removed several hundred square metres of sod, ready to invert, stack and [β¦]
Pynfolds Project Complete (for this season!)
Last week, over 5 days, we shifted over 15 tons of compost onto the communal garden of Pynfolds Estate, SE16, just opposite Southwark Park!
Preparing for Pynfolds
We are currently gearing up for a big estate-transformation project, starting in the week of November 17th. Just off Jamaica Road, Pynfolds Estate has a large central garden area, which has seen better days.
