Business Director
Katy joined us in 2018 and oversees all business operations. She is also responsible for the development & implementation of our strategic plan, sustainably increasing our social impact.
Flora Gordon

Operations Manager
Flora completed the Urban Growth training program in 2015, & now manages many of our maintenance & community projects. She oversees our work with Lambeth Council, in particular the Edible Living program.
Orsetta Hosquet

Jetty Manager & Carpenter
Orsetta started volunteering with us in 2017, & quickly became a valuable part of the team, with her background in interior & stage design. She now manages our Greenwich portfolio of sites & oversees our carpentry & other building works.
Sebastian Wood

Orchard & Volunteer Manager
Seb started volunteering with us in April 2016, & moved swiftly into a paid role working with volunteers, running sessions at PopBrixton & Brixton Orchard. He now manages both sites, & helps to deliver new projects across Lambeth.
Taye Tsega

Head of Food Growing
Taye has been with Urban Growth since early 2016, & plays a key role in the technical aspects of horticulture on our different sites. He is an expert food grower, raising thousands of seedlings every year to distribute across Lambeth community gardens.

Maurizio has a background in Engineering and Graphic Arts and 20+ years experience working and consulting in B2B technology/research industries internationally. He is a trustee, philanthropist and social entrepreneur in London, supporting small charities and social enterprises through innovative services and ethical communication.

Finance Director at BP Launchpad
Olia has a background in Mathematics and Finance. She holds an MBA diploma from the Chicago Booth School of Business and is a Charted Financial Analyst. Olia has 20+ years of experience in finance, energy and technology internationally. She currently holds the post of the Finance Director at BP Launchpad – BP’s internal start-up accelerator and business builder. She is also the Board Director at Heliex Power and a Mentor at Wellclubs.
Horticultural Services Manager at Haig Housing Trust
Marcus is a Chartered Master of Horticulture with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. He is currently the Horticultural Services Manager for military charity Haig Housing Trust, responsible for all horticultural and arboricultural aspects on over 70 estates across the UK.
