All this month we are improving the communal areas of Lambeth council estates with local residents. We want to engage as many people as possible every weekend in November.
Lambeth Council asked us to go to estates from Waterloo to West Norwood, engaging local residents to create flowering meadows in their communal areas. We are using bulbs from Gedney Bulbs and wildflower seeds from Emorsgate (both all grown & harvested in the UK), to create nectar-rich🌻, beautiful patches which hundreds of people and pollinators🐝 pass every day. We invite all local residents to join us as we do this. To find out the dates of our planting sessions, and to request improvements on your estate (we still have capacity to improve shared spaces in the spring!), please get in touch through the website.
This is part of our wider activities, participating in the campaign to make London a National Park City. You might not be a Lambeth resident, but you can still make the city greener, happier, healthier and more sustainable. Get in touch with us to make London a better place to live!
