We’ve spent the past 10 days refurbishing a communal garden in Brent, at the thriving community centre The Granville.

We’ve been so busy building, digging & planting that we haven’t had much time to take photos! But so far we have:

  • created a huge new ornamental bed with grasses & pollinator-friendly flowers
  • cleared some wild banks & replanted them with pollinator-friendly flowers
  • built 4 large raised beds at a variety of heights to ensure access for all ages & abilities
  • installed a greenhouse to allow the community gardeners to grow in all weathers
  • created a bespoke bin store with wildlife walls and flowering green screens at the entrance
  • replanted a long border with year-round interest hedging

Soon, our friends at Art4Space will be installing mosaic stepping stones, having designed & created them with the Granville community.

The weather has got in the way a bit, as we would expect at this time of year, but soon we will be able to share photos of the finished product!
