London – its plants & people – has noticed the warmer, brighter, longer days! We are all more willing to poke our head out of doors, and the cherry blossom and spring bulbs are popping up in sunny spots. We spent two days communicating this enthusiasm to the students of south London schools at the Southwark Employability Fair, put together by the Southwark EBA (http://www.southwarkeba.org.uk) at Goldsmiths University.

We distributed over 25 seed bombs to student groups, to brighten up a neglected corner with British native wildflowers in a clay/compost mix that will get the seeds off to a strong start. And we are hoping to establish partnerships with some of the schools who visited us, delivering workshops and training for a selection of students. We also spent very successful week at the end of February, creating a 25m long willow wall, raised beds with fruit trees and an ornamental garden for a local church. See our Facebook and Twitter feeds for more details, videos and pictures.
